Happy birthday to Day6's baritone drummer, Dowoon! To celebrate his special day, let us take time to appreciate his singing vocals on top of being an impressive musician!  

On August 25, Yoon Dowoon, the drummer and maknae of the boy band Day6 celebrates his special day!

In 2015, his name particularly became familiar among K-pop fans following his debut under JYP Entertainment. Later on, he solidified his presence in the music scene as the leader of the sub-unit, Even of Day launched in 2020.

Aside from being the band's drummer, he also established his status as a songwriter and composer of Day6. Some of the songs where he was given the credits include "Congratulations (Final Ver.)," "Colors," "Habits (Final Ver.) and his solo debut track, "Out of the Blue."

But on top of these skills, some may not know that Dowoon possesses lovely baritone vocals. Unfortunately, his voice is often given less recognition.

Thus, on this day, we compiled the times Dowoon earned praises for his singing abilities!

1. 'Beautiful Feeling'

One of the most memorable songs, where Dowoon's deep voice graced fans' ears, is "Beautiful Feeling." This is because this is the song in which Dowoon's vocals appeared in Day6's discography for the first time.

The song was first performed during Day6's fan meeting, "You Made My Day," in 2018. Upon hearing Dowoon's voice, MyDays (fandom) were thrilled and couldn't help but ask for more of his vocals!

2. 'so this is love'

When the sub-unit of Day6 [Even of Day] debuted, Dowoon became more confident about his vocals. He also performed a solo part alone, without the accompaniment of other members!

He specifically showed off his deep and lovely voice when the unit dropped "so this is love," a romantic ballad.

3. 'I Think About You'

Who can even move on when Day6 also played their rendition of One More Chance's "I Think About You"?

Indeed, Dowoon's romantic vocals stood out here and fans surely hope that he will sing more songs like this in the future!

4. 'Finale'

If Dowoon singing in Korean sounds magical already, what more if you hear him sing in Japanese?

MyDays were blessed when Day6 dropped their track "Finale," where Dowoon confidently sang his lines in Japanese - live!

5. 'Out of the Blue' ft. Song Hee Jin

After about six years since his debut, fans' wish for him to release his solo song has been heard!

In September 2021, he dropped his single, "Out of the Blue," where he showcased his baritone vocals the best. With this track, he doesn't only have a single line, but about half of the song was sung by him!
