In the past week, BTS V and BLACKPINK Jennie have been the talk of the town after a Twitter user by the handle @gurumiharibo uploaded alleged photos of the two K-pop idols together. The release of the pictures came after a separate netizen shared an image supposedly showing the two stars riding a car together this past May.

On Aug. 28, the leaker claimed that there are more photos of V and Jennie together, including the one where the BTS member is kissing the BLACKPINK member on the forehead while the latter is smiling.

As the photos keep on coming and the leaker asserting that they are not edited, netizens speculated that Jennie's iCloud might have been hacked. And so people are hoping that Gurumi Haribo will refrain from posting more private images as it is against the law.
On Aug. 31, the leaker sent a message via a private Telegram group chat, declaring that they will stop uploading more photos of BTS V and BLACKPINK Jennie.

Their statement is as follows:
"Within the last 48 hours a lot has happened behind the scenes and important people talked to me. As a result of these conversations, I will refrain from posting any further content regarding Kim Jennie and Kim Taehyung.
I will stand with what I said and repeat once more:
1. None of the pictures [of] Kim Jennie or Kim Taehyung have been edited/altered/modified.
2. The legal representatives should speak out the truth.
3. The relevant people know that there are further pictures and ONLY they have received them.
Please do not speculate too much about this. I have never worked with other people doing any of this, such as people online constantly claim.
As there are a lot of people in this group now and I see that there are many nice people here too, I created a group chat for all the supportive people of Jennie and Taehyung. This should be a safe space to engage with others. Please be kind to each other:

Everyone can write in there.
This group I would only use if I need to correct a wrong statement which a company issues about this incident."
