MAMAMOO is confirmed to come back this year as they posted on their official Twitter the song selection participation of the fans. MooMoos are super excited for the full group comeback as it has been a year since their last group promotions with their album "I Say MAMAMOO: The Best" and double title track "Mumumuch" and "Happier Than Ever."

MAMAMOO Asks Fans To Pick Their Comeback Song

MAMAMOO will select a number of fans and will let them hear a number of songs that the members and the company have picked to be contender for their comeback track.

Rainbow Bridge World Entertainment has done this with their "Travel" mini-album where "Aya" is the title track.

However, after the fans favored "Dingga," their company chose to release the song as a pre-release track only. The other choice was "Chuck." The fans' choice, "Dingga" did very well as a pre-release song. It charted on MelOn's top 10 for five weeks. 

This time, fans are hoping that RBW Entertainment will listen to their choice and wishes for the betterment of the group.

MAMAMOO 8th Debut Anniversary

According to a report back in June, the management company of MAMAMOO, RBW, said:

"MAMAMOO celebrated the 8th anniversary of their debut on June 19th. Thanks to everyone who has supported us with unchanging love. The four members are preparing to release a full album and hold a solo concert with the goal of the second half of this year to commemorate the 8th anniversary of their debut. Details will be provided later."

In addition to the celebration, at 5 pm on the 19th of June, MAMAMOO's official SNS released a special content "Mamamoo Context" to commemorate the 8th anniversary of its debut.

The fans all loved the content as it showed MAMAMOO members gathered in a sauna, celebrating their debut anniversary. They lighted a candle on a radish-shaped cake to celebrate and played a variety of games that radiated "fantastic chemistry" between the members.

The K-pop quartet all have solo careers outside their group. Wheein, who is not in RBW anymore, released her first ever album after leaving the company.

Her self-titled album "WHEE" and title track "Make Me Happy" was released in January of this year.

Released at the same time was Moonbyul's third mini-album "6equence" with title track "G999" and "Lunatic."

Meanwhile, their leader, Solar, released her comeback song as a soloist with her title track "Honey" from her first album "Face."

After that, Moonbyul released her 1st comeback for the year with single album "C.I.T.T" (Cheese In The Trap).  

Fans were expecting a Hwasa solo since she is the only member who has not made her comeback as a solo singer yet. However, it looks like group comeback will be happening first.
