Girls' Generation Yuri's Relationship With Baseball Star Oh Seung Hwan
Back in April 2015, news broke that Girls' Generation member was in a relationship with professional baseball player Oh Seung Hwan, who was a pitcher for the Hanshin Tigers at the time, after photos of the two on their way home from watching the film Ode to My Father was shared.
The news was reported by media outlet Ilyo News on April 20. The media outlet reported that in March 2014, only seven of the eight Girls' Generation members had retured to South Korea after finishing a recording in Japan on March 6 that year.

It was revealed that Yuri was the member who remained in Osaka for personal reasons. She later returned to South Korea after five days on March 11, 2014.
It was then revealed that on March 12, there was a game between the Hanshin Tigers and the Tokyo Yakult Swallows that took place at the Koshien Stadium, the home stadium of the Hanshin Tigers, near Osaka, Japan.
Although Yuri returned to South Korea a day before the game, media outlets reported that Yuri and Oh Seung Hwan's romantic relationship was already well-known among baseball players and baseball industry officials, as confirmed by the latter.

Reports added that Yuri's visit to Osaka was more of a support for Oh Seung Hwan's upcoming game at the time, rather than a time for dates.
Yuri and Oh Seung Hwan Reportedly Getting to Know Each Other
Yuri and Oh Seung Hwan reportedly continued to meet in November and December 2014. But instead of going on dates alone together, they met up with friends and acquaintances, which allowed them to avoid suspicion from reporters.
Yuri and Oh Seung Hwan met each other often while he was in South Korea. The two would reportedly spend time at a restaurant, an amusement park, a movie theater, and etc.

TV Report states that the two met after being introduced to each other by an acquaintance. The two are also seven years apart in age, with Yuri being born in 1989, while Oh Seung Hwan was born in 1982.
However, six months after confirming their relationship, the two broke up in October 2015 due to the long distance.
Since then, Yuri has had no other confirmed relationships following her break up with Oh Seung Hwan.
