'Music Bank' Allegedly Favors TXT Soobin & Oh My Girl Arin Over IVE Jang Wonyoung & ENHYPEN Sunghoon
On September 8, Sojang released a video titled "[Music Bank] Jang Wonyoung and Arin are discriminating... The staff knew it all." There, Sojang talked about ENHYPEN's Sunghoon being fired from "Music Bank" and the alleged favoritism the staff shows the old MCs over the new ones.

In the video, the YouTuber starts by insisting that Sunghoon was fired as MC. Though fans claim the idol left due to his tour activities with ENHYPEN, Sojang pointed out that Yeonjun, who is currently the MC of "Inkigayo," is also on tour but is still completing his MC duties.

The YouTuber then compares IVE's Jang Wonyoung and ENHYPEN's Sunghoon, the most recent "Music Bank" pairing, with the previous MCs, TXT Soobin and Oh My Girl Arin.

Soobin and Arin were well-loved during their time as MCs due to their undeniable chemistry. Soobin, in particular, was well-known for being polite and had a good reputation. However, Jang Wonyoung and Sunghoon were often criticized for their manners and lack of chemistry on camera.
Due to their differences in reputation, Sojang accuses the "Music Bank" staff of extraordinarily favorite Soobin and Arin over Sunghoon and Jang Wonyoung.
For example, Soobin and Arin received rice cakes from the staff to celebrate their 100th day as MCs. They also received towels and other cute gifts, and all were custom-made. However, Sunghoon and Jang Wonyoung did not receive anything for their 100 days as MCs.

Another example is how they celebrated Arin and Jang Wonyoung's birthdays. For Arin's birthday, "Music Bank" staff prepared balloons that spell out "HAPPY BIRTHDAY," unicorn balloons, and a crown for Arin. They also printed out pictures of Arin for her birthday banner.

When it was Jang Wonyoung's birthday, Music Bank simply printed out a "Happy Birthday To You" sign and a birthday greeting in Korean. There was one single balloon seen in the background. In addition, the idol received flowers from the designer brand, Miu Miu.

Many believe the difference in decorations for the two idols are drastically different, and this shows how they favor Oh My Girl Arin.

Others speculate that the staff has shown favoritism due to the attitude of Jang Wonyoung and Sunghoon. Many assume that the two have demonstrated rude behavior to the people they work with.
