Jeon Somi's dad is Matthew Douma. He is active as an actor and is best known for his appearance in the K-drama "Descendants of the Sun."

The Black Label announced on October 14, 2021, that Jeon would release her debut studio album, "XOXO," along with the album's lead track on October 29.
