In the fourth episode of JTBC's "The Second World", which aired on the 20th of September, MAMAMOO's main rapper has once again proved to everybody that she is the best!

The girl group member scored 1000 which is the maximum score that a contestant can get. The second round was called the unit stage as two contestants from the show will team up and perform as one.

MAMAMOO Moonbyul Teams Up With WJSN Exy

MAMAMOO Moonbyul and WJSN Exy both picked each other as the contestant they want to sing with in the previous episode.

The two succeeded in becoming a duo and called their team SQS. they were up against team Meow which consists of Oh My Girl Mimi and CLASS:y Seonyu.

The Meow team chose Lee Hi's song "Savior" and stated in the interview shown before the performance that they want to do something that is not flashy and depicts their sincerity and story.

In order to sing the story of how they were hurt by the world's standards and criticism, the two artists did not use any sets or props, only their bodies, and voice.

They also added a flare to it by presenting a quirky performance featuring a challenging modern dance.

Meanwhile, the winning team of MAMAMOO Moonbyul performed Wanna One's debut song "Energetic". WJSN Exy and her partner showed a perfect sync performance with powerful energy.

According to a NAVER article, the SQS team did not only sweep the stage with their powerful rap but also with their amazing vocal performance that resulted in being selected by all 5 leaders/judges of the show.

'The Second World' Round 2: Other Teams And Performances

In the second battle, JooE and Moon Sua's team battled it out with former Wonder Girls and former AOA Yubin and Jimin.

The two veteran idols called their team Seven while JooE and Moon Sua's team is named Who X. their team rocked the stage with Jessi's song "What Type of X".

They performed the rock and sexy version of the song that made the judges stand up to give them applause. The two contestants were in last place during the first round and now they have recovered and placed 4th and 3rd.

On the other hand, the Seven team chose Block B's "Very Good" as they want to show a stage where the audience can see their chemistry and enjoy the performance.

It was also the first time that Jimin choreographed. She said that she couldn't relax because she was really nervous prior to the performance stage.

Though Jimin and Yubin showed a really wonderful stage, it was the Who X team who won the round with 5-0.

MAMAMOO Moonbyul Winning Round 2 of 'The Second World'

After all the stages were over, the final score and ranking were revealed. After the last round, Moonbyul, who teamed up with Exy, once again received 1,000 points, which is the highest score an artist can receive per round, and rose to the top spot.

Moonbyul, who showed tears in the last round, enjoyed her win this time. She stated that she has gained the confidence to listen to good songs.

Meanwhile, Yubin received the lowest score in the second round. She has declared war, saying, "There can be any surprises at any time," boosting expectations for the next round.
