With lyrics penned by members Allen and Serim, "PARTY ROCK" is a vibrant dance song of the pop and rock genre. It expresses the happiness and freedom in the current moment.

According to Hanteo Chart on Sept. 28, CRAVITY's "NEW WAVE" sold a total of 60,587 copies on its first day and ranked first on its Daily Album Chart (dated Sept. 27). This marks the first time the boy group surpassed 60,000 copies on the first day of sales, which means they have broken their personal record.

CRAVITY's previous best record in terms of first-day sales was held by the second installment of their first studio album "LIBERTY : IN OUR COSMOS," which sold 47,958 copies on March 22 this year.

The boy group's blooming popularity is also evident in the ranking of their new mini-album on iTunes charts around the world.

Following its release, CRAVITY's "NEW WAVE" gradually entered the iTunes chart around the world. The mini-album ranked in the top 25 in at least six different regions as of 12:50 a.m. KST on the 28th, including Vietnam (No. 3), Thailand (No. 4), Turkey (No. 4), Indonesia (No. 5), Canada (No. 22), Japan (No. 22).

In addition to that, "NEW WAVE" also debuted at No. 37 on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart dated Sept. 27 and at No. 178 on the Worldwide Apple Music Album Chart.

In South Korea, the album's title song is also charting well. CRAVITY's "PARTY ROCK" simultaneously debuted at No. 17 on MelOn's Weekly Latest Hits chart, No. 24 on Bugs, and No. 70 on MelOn's Monthly Latest Hits chart at 7 p.m. KST on the 27th.

Aside from the title track, the B-sides from the mini-album also entered MelOn's Weekly Latest Hits chart: "New Addiction" debuted at No. 42, "Colorful" at No. 45, "AUTOMATIC" at No. 48, "Knock Knock" at No. 50, and "Boogie Woogie" at No. 55.

Furthermore, CRAVITY landed on the No. 11 spot on MelOn's Daily Artist Chart (Boy Group).

As of noon KST on the 28th, all six songs from CRAVITY's "NEW WAVE" continue to rank in the top 50 of MelOn's Weekly Latest Hits chart, with "PARTY ROCK" soaring at No. 15.
