NewJeans may be new to the music scene, but they are already a popular artist not only in South Korea but worldwide.

Ever since their debut on July 22, the five-piece new girl group formed by ADOR (headed by Min Hee Jin) has been sweeping various music charts with their catchy songs "Attention," "Hype Boy," and "Cookie."

They also made history with their first EP "New Jeans" in terms of album sales. In addition to becoming the first debut album by a K-pop girl group to surpass 200,000 copies on the first day of release, "New Jeans" broke the record for highest first-week sales of any K-pop girl group debut album in Hanteo history.

On top of that, NewJeans earned their first rookie award, specifically the Next Leader award at The Fact Music Awards 2022 just 79 days after their debut.

Because of their impact in the music field, the quintet has become one of the most sought-after fourth-generation K-pop groups. Only three months into their career, the "Attention" singers have already bagged several endorsement deals.

According to ADOR on Oct. 12, NewJeans is active as the face of companies in various industries, including telecommunication companies, banks, and fashion stores. Among those are five major brands including SK Telecom, MEGASTUDY, Shinhan Bank, Musinsa, and Pinkfong.

On Sept. 30, the rookie girl group was featured in an advertisement video for SK Telecom's iPhone 14, which proves their celebrity status as obtaining a brand deal of this scale is rare for a group as new as them.

On Oct. 11, Pinkfong released a video of NewJeans dancing to the Ninimo song. A variety of content will drop over a period of time.

But aside from the aforementioned brands, other agencies also have their eye on the "Hype Boy" singers as their new face. ADOR revealed that the new girl group has been contacted by more than 100 companies in different fields, and is currently in discussion with them for a collaboration. They added that even global brands reached out to them to secure endorsement deals.

There is hardly any other fourth-generation K-pop group that has this impressive range of brand endorsements. This only proves that NewJeans has successfully made a mark in the industry.

NewJeans's First EP Certified by Circle Chart + Remains on Billboard World Albums Chart

In other news, NewJeans' first EP "New Jeans" received a certification from Circle Chart on Oct. 6. The album earned a platinum certification for selling 250,000 copies in South Korea.

Additionally, "New Jeans" continues to rank on the Circle Album Chart. For the week of Sept. 25 to Oct. 1, the EP (Weverse) took No. 30 and its physical album secured No. 45.

NewJeans' debut EP constantly stays on Billboard's World Albums chart as well. In the week ending on Oct. 8, the album placed 13th in its eight consecutive week on the tally.
