NCT 127 Becomes 1st K-pop Act to Perform At 'The Jennifer Hudson Show'

Established as among SM Entertainment's stalwarts, NCT 127 proves their global influence, popularity, and reputation by scording another milestone as they become the first K-pop act to spice the stage of "The Jennifer Hudson Show"!

On October 11, the boy group performed and talked about their latest album title track, "2 Baddies," released last September 16, 2022. 

NCT 127 Reveals '2 Baddies' Meaning

The 4th Korean-language studio album of NCT 127 consists of 12 tracks, namely "2 Baddies," "Faster," "Time Lapse," "Crash Landing," "Designer," "Gold Dust," "Black Clouds," "Playback," "Tasty," "Vitamins," "LOL (Laugh out Loud)," and "1, 2, 7 (Time Stops)."

Upon the release up to the period of promotions, music analysts and critics lauded the album for its versatility, stretching from R&B to hip-hop.

As the 127-squad discussed their latest album on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Mark mentioned how "2 Baddies" is a song that resonates with their "ambitions."

Supplementarily, the rapper also shared that there exists a Korean name for every song. In the case of "2 Baddies," it means "high speed."

After talking about the inner meaning, NCT 127 coached the host, Jennifer Hudson, on the dance moves from "2 Baddies."

NCT 127 Pushes Through Post-Pandemic Schedules

In June this year, NCT 127 concluded their dome tours in Japan for the "NCT 127 2nd Tour: The Link." The Japan leg was followed when NCT 127 kicked concerts in Singapore last July 2, 2022, and Manila, Philippines last September 4, 2022.

As the boy group extends to reach their fans in every major city in the world, NCT 127 boarded last week for their two-dates concert In Los Angeles and New York.

First, NCT 127 raised the roof of Crypto.com Arena on October 6, 2022, and is set to roll the party on October 13, 2022, at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.

Currently, the pride from SM Entertainment is rocking the U.S. Charts, as evident with how 2 Baddies replicated Sticker album's record by reaching the No. 3 position in the Billboard 200. Indeed, NCT 127 is to and for the world.

Meanwhile, even though NCT 127 is active, one of its members, Jaehyun, recently released his first solo single entitled "Forever Only." The track showcased the visual-vocalist's guitar skills, lyric-writing, and styling. The emotional and experimental music in the solo single captured many hearts, as demonstrated when the song championed multiple Billboard 200 entries.

Jaehyun also shared that "Forever Only" became a platform for him to develop his music skills, not just as an artist, but as a human capable for self-expression.
