1. DKZ - 'Uh-Heung'

On October 6, DKZ released their seventh single album, "Chae Episode 3. Beum." The group also released the music video for their lead single, "Uh-Heung."

The lyrics were penned by member Jaechan. "Uh-Heung" is a powerful song that lyrically sends a message about walking one's own path with confidence and bravery despite living in a world riddle with fear and temptation.

2. Stray Kids - 'Case 143'

On October 7, Stray Kids released "Case 143" as the lead single of their seventh mini-album, "Maxident."

Lyrically, "Case 143" compares confused minds when falling in love with a "case." The code for this case is the number 143, a code for "I love you." It is a love song for someone who gets easily distracted and is witty and fun.

The song is a signature Stray Kids classic. It is vibrant, but also built around an ever-changing rush of sounds that can lead the listener to being curious and intruiged.

3. MAMAMOO - 'Illella"

On October 11, MAMAMOO released the single "Illella" as the lead single of their 12th mini-album, "Mic On."

"Illelaa" is inspired by reggae and is a fusion between reggaeton and K-pop. Moonbyul helped compose and write lyrics for the song. The song lyrically talks about a romantic couple confirming their feelings for one another beneath the moonlight.

The song is a perfect encapsulation of MAMAMOO's vocal prowess, which helped cement their reputation in the K-pop industry. The song "Illella" is riddled with the girl group's signature powerful belts and sleek harmonies, which will leave MAMAMOO fans hooked!

4. Dreamcatcher - 'Vision'

On October 11, Dreamcatcher released their seventh mini-album, "Apocalypse: Follow Us," and its lead single, "Vision."

The song is of the dark techno genre and utilizes electronic sounds. Lyrically, the single describes Dreamcatcher's vision for the future.

5. TAN - 'Beautiful Lie'

TAN released "Beautiful Lie" on October 11 as the lead single of their first single album, "Dream & Deurim."

Though the music video shows the boys enjoying a summer day under the sun, the lyrics are more somber. Lyrically, the single talks about falling for a beautiful lie that appears too good to be true.
