Kwon Eunbi Returns With New Mini Album 'Lethality' and Lead Single 'Underwater'

On October 12 at 6pm KST, former IZ*ONE member-turned-solo artist Kwon Eunbi returns with her new album, just six months after releasing her second mini album, "Color," back in April of this year.

Kwon Eunbi brought out the anticipation as she finally drops her third mini album entitled "Lethality" across various music platforms, with it presenting an upgraded charm to her captivating music and visuals.

"Lethality" contains a total of six tracks in various genres to show Kwon Eunbi's wide music spectrum. It features the title track "Underwater," with ther songs included in the album being "Wave," "Croquis," "Simulation," "Flash," and "Hi."

In particular, "Hi" was written solely by Kwon Eunbi herself. She also participated in the song's composition, alongside FRANTS and Melanie Joy Fontana, proving his music ability.

Meanwhile, the title track "Underwater" is a pop dance track that combines the rhythm of funk and afro beats with the deep house genre. Lyrically, the song is about diving into love. "Underwater" also showcases Kwon Eunbi's unique and powerful vocals, which harmonize well with the song itself.

For the accompanying music video released for "Underwater," Kwon Eunbi presents her fatal visuals. In the music video, she can be seen giving an intense performance against a moon backdrop, and capturing fans' attention with her seductive eyes and red shining necklace.

Kwon Eunbi's Thoughts on Making Comeback on Same Day as Lee Chaeyeon's Solo Debut

In particular, attention is also being drawn to the fact that Kwon Eunbi made her comeback on the same day her fellow former IZ*ONE member, Lee Chaeyeon, is making her solo debut.

On making a comeback on the same day Lee Chaeyeon is debuting, Kwon Eunbi expressed her apologies to her former group member as she might be "stealing her spotlight" on such an important day.

During her media showcase for "Lethality," Kwon Eunbi said, "Lee Chaeyeon and I contacted each other throughout the preparation of our albums. We even kept in touch until this morning."

She added, "I felt apologetic when I make a comeback at the same time as her. When the article about the album's release date appeared, I told her that I was sorry."

But despite releasing their respective albums on the same day, Kwon Eunbi shared that Lee Chaeyeon thought that them promoting at the same time will give her strength and the synergy.

Lee Chaeyeon had also told Kwon Eunbi that she is very happy, and to just perform like she used to.
