On October 9, GQ Korea released a video featuring TWICE's leader Jihyo. In the video, the "Talk That Talk" songstress played mini-golf and answered different questions prepared by the publication.

One of the questions she received was, "How did you get close to TWICE Mina, BLACKPINK LISA, and (G)I-DLE MINNIE?" As she read the question, she laughed, pointing out that Mina is her co-member.

Jihyo noted how the friendship was unexpected for a lot of people and explained how the female idols became besties.

Jihyo and Lisa became close early on, with Jihyo saying they became friends right after her debut with TWICE. She states that they became close naturally since they were the same age. The two keep in touch often and hang out whenever they have free time.

Lisa is close to Minnie, as they are both from Thailand. Because Lisa and Minnie are close, Jihyo naturally became close to the (G)I-DLE member as well. She noted that she and Minnie are also same-aged friends.

Back in June 2022, Minnie shocked internet users by sharing a series of photos and clips taken at a picture booth with BLACKPINK Lisa, TWICE Jihyo, and Mina. The images were also shared on the Instagram Stories of Lisa, Jihyo, and Mina.

The girls were seen wearing various props to shoot different photos. As they posed for the camera, they showed off their tight-knight friendship. A clip even shows how the girls posed for their picture, flaunting their visuals and kind personalities!

Following the friendship reveal, Jihyo took to Bubble to reveal that they had all been friends for a long time. However, it must have come as a shock to ONCEs, as Jihyo has not mentioned this in the past.
