Microphones are one of the most essential things a singer must have, and it is just as essential to K-pop stars. While a lot of idols use the standard black microphone, especially when they are still in their rookie years, many opt to personalize their microphones and have it customized to add more dimension to their performances, and each one is just beautiful to look at!

With that, here are some of the K-pop stars who have their own custom microphones!

1. IU

IU is one of the most well-known artists to use custom microphones. In fact, IU has a wide collection of microphones that she has customized, which she often switches up every time she performs or makes a comeback. Over the years, she has accumulated more than a dozen custom microphones - some in a simple solid color, dual-colored, metallic, matte, or embellished!

2. BTS

In the past, the seven BTS members used matching microphones in a silver color. But when their popularity boomed even more, they upgraded their microphones to different colors to represent each member.

At the beginning, their microphones were only in solid color. However, they upgraded it once again and added Swarovski crystals in its entirety.

3. Red Velvet Joy

Unfortunately, Red Velvet doesn't have their own custom microphones yet. However, for her solo promotions, member Joy got herself a custom microphone. Joy's microphones is embellished fully with Swarovski crystals in shades of green, with a big crystal decorated at the head. Not only that, but Joy also has her solo logo embellished in white.

4. (G)I-DLE

Initially, only (G)I-DLE's leader Soyeon had a custom microphone, one in neon yellow, due to her promotions as a solo artist. But this year, the rest of the members were finally given their own personalized microphones! Aside from the different colors and styles, each of the members' microphones have their own names personalized at the bottom.

5. ATEEZ

"HALA HALA" hitmakers ATEEZ have their own custom microphones as well. Similar to the others, each of the ATEEZ members have their own colors. While six of the members kept the same microphone colors they have for the last couple of years, only members Wooyoung and Mingi changed their colors to gray and silver, respectively, this year.

6. MAMAMOO

In MAMAMOO's case, the four members' custom microphones were gifted by their loyal and dedicated fans, MOOMOOs. While their fans funded their microphones, the members themselves chose the design that they want. When they are promoting as a group, they have the same matte black microphone with a gold top. However, the shade of gold is lighter for Moonbyul and Solar, while a darker shade of gold for Hwasa and Wheein.
