About Former DIA Seunghee

Cho Seunghee is a 31-year old South Korean celebrity. She was added as a member to F-ve Dolls in 2013 after two prospective members withdrew from the group.

She then made her debut as a F-ve Dolls member on July 31 with the release of the digital single "Since 1971." Unfortunately, the girl group disbanded on March 10, 2015.

On Sept. 14, 2015, she re-debuted in the new girl group called DIA under MBK Entertainment, with the release of the studio album "Do It Amazing," which contains the title track "Somehow." However, she left the group after less than a year.

On April 30, 2016, it was announced that Seunghee will leave both the group and agency to focus on her acting career. She was the first member to leave the band.

On Jan. 30, 2017, she joined Urban Works Entertainment and decided to use the stage name Jo Seunghee. She then starred in multiple Korean dramas, such as "Bravo My Life," "My First Love," "109 Strange Things," among others.

In February 2018, Seunghee revealed the real reason for leaving DIA. in an interview with News1, she confessed that she had an identity crisis for a long time, and this led her to fall into a slump.

But since she was the leader of DIA at that time and wasn't the type of person who would express her concerns, she dealt with the difficulties by herself. She eventually was unable to overcome her slump, and thought she would be a hindrance to MBK and the members.

Her exclusive contract with the company was about to expire at that time, so she decided not to renew her contract and leave. The next thing she did was to rest for about a year.

During her break, former DIA Seunghee's slump became so severe that she didn't think about going back to promoting as a celebrity. She rejected all the offers she received from entertainment industry officials.

Then one day, she received an offer to appear in a web drama being produced by the government and decided to accept the role after thinking she should have fun at least once. She then realized how fun acting was and so she eventually returned to the entertainment industry as an actress.

Aside from being an actress, she also became a general producer at PocketDol Studio in 2019. In July 2020, she changed her stage name to Cho Yi Hyun.

In 2021, former DIA Seunghee was responsible for the planning and A&R for the reality survival show "My Teenage Girl," which produced the new girl group CLASS:y. That same year, she founded her own entertainment company and called it M25.

At present, Cho Yi Hyun is an actress, producer, model, and singer under her own label M25. She also serves as the CEO of the company and CLASS:y's producer and manager. CLASS:y is also an artist under M25.
