TFN to Carry Out 'BEFORE SUNRISE Part.4' Comeback Promotions Without Sian- Here's Why

On Oct. 24, MLD Entertainment released an official statement through media outlets to announce that TFN member Sian will take a temporary hiatus from group activities.

The company explained that Sian won't be able to participate in TFN's upcoming comeback promotions for "BEFORE SUNRISE Part.4" due to health issues. They added that Sian is experiencing headaches and dizziness because of sudden sensorineural hearing loss.

As a result, TFN will make a comeback as an 8-member act with "BEFORE SUNRISE Part.4" on Oct. 26 at 6 p.m. KST.

MLD Entertainment's full statement is as follows:

"Hello, this is MLD Entertainment.

First of all, we sincerely thank the fans who love TFN.

We would like to inform you about TFN Sian's health condition and his future activity plans.

Member Sian complained of dizziness and headache due to sudden sensorineural hearing loss, so he is unable to participate in the official activities for the mini-album 'BEFORE SUNRISE Part.4,' which will be released on the 26th.

We decided to focus on recovering Sian's health, as we've decided that the artist's health should be our top priority.

Accordingly, for the time being, TFN will work as an 8-member group.

We ask for your understanding of the decision to put our artist's health first.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the sudden news, and we will do our best to give the artist enough rest for his recovery.

Thank you."

On Oct. 26 at 6 p.m. KST, TFN will drop their first mini-album "BEFORE SUNRISE Part.4" together with the music video for the title song "AMAZON." This album will be their first Korean project this year.

TFN's Recent Activities

TFN (formerly known as T1419) had several activities in the past nine months. After starting the new year with their Japanese debut with the release of "Our Teen: Blue Side," the group dropped multiple digital singles such as "Edelweiss" on March 22 and "When The Sun Goes Down" on July 3.

Amid their musical releases, TFN attended multiple events. They attended the Premios Juventud award show in July and performed at the Korea-Japan Exchange Festival 2022 in Tokyo in September.

Following that, the boy group was one of the performers at KAMP LA 2022, which was held in Rose Bowl Stadium- the most legendary venue in Los Angeles- on Oct. 15 and 16. They were originally scheduled to perform on Oct. 16 only, but because of the absence of five K-pop artists who were included in the lineup for Day 1, they became one of the special guests on the first day of the event (alongside their labelmate MOMOLAND).
