As of December 2, a post featuring actress Go Ara already amassed 88.8k views in an online community with about 400 upvotes.

The reason the celebrity is gaining attention from K-pop enthusiasts and internet users was due to her past photo taken when she was a teenager.

In the post, the author wrote shared the picture with the title, "Isn't Go Ara a princess?" along with the caption, "Are her visuals for real?"

In the candid photo, the then-teen actress was photographed while clapping at a supposed awards ceremony. While looking at the stage, Go Ara showed an innocent and delicate beauty like a princess.

Her simple styling wearing a silk dress and light makeup also made her visuals stand out even more.

As soon as the photo was posted, a lot of internet users were shocked by Go Ara's visuals when she was younger and left comments such as:

• "She's like a mermaid princess on land."
• "I feel like she's the best among pretty girls."

Story of How Go Ara Entered SM Entertainment

When she was in her second year in middle school in 2003, the 90-line idol participated in SM Entertainment's "Youth Best Contest."

Originally, her friend was the one to join the audition and she was supposed to appear as a backup dancer only but her friend dropped out, leading her to participate in her stead.

Despite the tough competition with a ratio of 8000:1, Go Ara was selected for her best look and won the grand prize, leading her to earn a contract with SM Entertainment.

She entered as a trainee for both acting and singing and at the age of 14, she started training together with current Girls' Generation members. She also did acting studies along with Super Junior Heechul.

She almost debuted as an SNSD member and possibly the center as well, but she decided to focus on her career as an actress after starring in "Sharp."

After 13 years with SM as an actress, she left the agency in 2016.
