Where Is Song Yuvin Now? Status of Former 'Produce X 101' Contestant & MYTEEN Member

Song Yuvin was one of the contestants who competed in "Produce X 101." Actually, he was one of the idols who participated in the survival show, as he was already a member of a boy group at that time, specifically MYTEEN. However, he didn't make it to the debut lineup, and MYTEEN disbanded afterwards.

What could Song Yuvin be doing at present? Is he still in the music industry? Read on to know the answers!

Who Is MYTEEN & Former "Produce X 101" Contestant Song Yuvin?

Song Yuvin is a South Korean celebrity who was born on April 28, 1998 in Daegu, South Korea. He first came into the spotlight when he competed in the Mnet reality show "Superstar K6." Sadly, his journey on the program was only until episode 12 with his highest-ranking being in the top 4.

Although he didn't win in the show, Yuvin was given the chance to sign with The Music Works Entertainment. He then became one of the representatives of his company in Mnet's other reality show, "Produce X 101," which everyone knows is the program that formed the now-disbanded boy group X1.

Song lasted until the final episode of "Produce X 101" but he only ranked 15th, a spot that wasn't included in the debut lineup. Thus, he remained a MYTEEN member under the Music Works Entertainment.

After signing with The Music Works Entertainment, Song Yuvin made his solo debut in May 2016 with his first single "You Are The Only One."

One year later, he re-debuted as a member of MYTEEN. The group dropped their first mini-album "MYEEN Go!" in July 2017. He was given the position of the main vocalist in the band.

Although the group disbanded, former "Produce X 101" contestant Song Yuvin re-debuted as half of the duo  "Kim Kook Heon + Song Yuvin," along with his fellow MYTEEN member Kim Kook Heon.
