At the young age of 12, Ahn Sohee became a trainee at JYP Entertainment. After two years of training, she was a middle school student when she debuted as a member of the iconic second-gen girl group, Wonder Girls, in 2007.

Since her appearance in the music scene, Sohee immediately gained interest with her unconventional visuals - eyes without double eyelids, chubby cheeks and eye smile that contradicts her blunt look.

This is far from the Korean beauty standard, but these features, on top of her personality, were immensely loved by K-pop fans. Due to this, she became one of the female idols to break stereotypes in terms of visuals.

In fact, even new K-pop fans and idols are surprisingly still aware of her iconic line "Omona!" from "Tell Me."

Unfortunately, Sohee decided to leave Wonder Girls and JYPE in 2013 after her contract expiration.

Since then, she walked the path of an actress. Actually, she was an actress prior to becoming an idol as she played minor roles in short films like "The Synesthesia For Overtone Construction" in 2004.

Her name became popular again when she appeared in "Train To Busan" in 2016. She was much loved for her role as Jin Hee, the love interest of Young Gook (Choi Woo Sik).

She also acted with veterans Lee Byung Hun and Gong Hyo Jin in the film "A Single Rider" (2017).

But after that, she mostly focused on working on short films, and drama specials.
