This 2023, Yuri, Girls' Generation's beautiful "black pearl," will turn 34. Still, she's focused on her career both as an idol and actress. Currently, there's no news about her dating anyone.
However, it doesn't mean that Yuri is not trying to meet someone. In fact, she had a few dating rumors in the past, but one of the most wholesome was the story of her blind date with BIGBANG Taeyang.
New K-pop fans might not know this, but Old SONEs (SNSD fans) and VIPs (BIGBANG fans) will surely recall the heart-fluttering confession of the male idol about this.
In particular, the blind date was revealed in 2010, when Taeyang appeared on the SBS program, "Strong Heart."
There, he confessed:
"I haven't had a girlfriend for the past few years, so I have a very strong desire to meet a girlfriend. I wanted to make a girlfriend within this year. I want to do it."

Upon hearing this, his then co-member Seungri exposed Taeyang secretly attending Girls' Generation's concert alone.
The embarrassed idol explained:
"I was not in the public eye for a long time while preparing for the album, so my personality became darker. So, people were very worried and wanted to introduce me to a friend.
I went out to eat with a light heart because I heard that this girl had a very good personality and would be a good friend, and it turned out to be Girls' Generation Yuri."

As the show went on, Taeyang then revealed his first impression of the "Gee" singer.
"(Yuri) is very bright and young, but she is such a good person who can communicate. I've been to a concert once and she's a friend and colleague who talks a lot about music (with me)."

Seungri, who was a university classmate of Yuri, also heard the same description from the female idol about Taeyang.
Clearly, both stars drew the line of remaining as close friends.
Taeyang emphasized:
"If I were thinking of Yuri in such a way (girlfriend), I wouldn't be able to come out like this and talk to her. She's a precious person among the few friends around me. Having a meal and going to Girls' Generation's concert was also a valuable experience. I look forward to great activities in the future."

In 2015, Yuri was announced to be dating baseball player Oh Seung Hwan, but they later on broke up.
In the same year, Taeyang went public with his relationship with Min Hyo Rin, his current wife whom he married in 2018.
