EXO Suho, Stray Kids, More Featured On Upcoming Documentary 'K-Pop Generation'

In recent news, a new K-pop documentary series will be premiered. Upcoming documentary show "K-pop Generation" has unveiled its main poster, and will feature different K-pop stars under its program.

South Korean online streaming platform TVING announced that "K-pop Generation" will cover K-pop's history and ongoing prominence. The series will tackle groups of the past, present, and future.

According to TVING, the show wouldn't simply be a straightforward interview-based documentary but will also provide a new kind of factual entertainment.

On the subject of its poster, it showcased the first to fourth generations of K-pop musicians, depicted on its vibrant artwork. The art piece was created by Noh Sang Ho, a well-known artist best known for his work on Hyukoh's album cover.

According to sources, Noh Sang Ho commented on his artwork. He explained how he wanted to put out K-pop's lovely ambiance, while maintaining its unpredictability and energy.

"I didn't only want to capture the pleasant feeling of K-pop, but also express a vibrant and unpredictable world that we don't know where or how it will unfold."

The subject of each episode will determine which K-pop performers will appear. Its lineup consists of Kangta, Super Junior Leeteuk, Sunmi, SHINee's Minho, 2PM, Highlight, EXO's Suho, MAMAMOO's Hwasa, NCT's Doyoung, Stray Kids, TXT, AleXa, ENHYPEN, IVE, and LE SSERAFIM.

Not only will it present Korean artists in display, but also overseas performers JO1, SB19, and NiziU as well. This captures how the show will highlight group chemistry and performances as their focal points.

K-pop Documentary 'Fill In The Blank' Focuses On Different Angle Surrounding Idols

In other news, another K-pop documentary recently made its release. The docuseries "Fill In The Blank" focused on four idols, starring Oh My Girl Hyojung, ATEEZ Wooyoung, The Boyz Q, and LE SSERAFIM Chaewon.

The show premiered on January 3.

 

The documentary showcased the idols' daily lives for its main context and shone a different light, away from their glamorous career. On December 27, Watcha released a trailer for "Fill In The Blank."
