SNSD Seohyun Dating Status 2023

As of this year, Seohyun is currently not publicly dating or married to anyone. It can be assumed that her relationship status in 2023 is single.

In the past, she only has 1 confirmed relationship with a celebrity whose identity is still unknown. Seohyun personally mentioned this through JTBC's "Knowing Bros" in 2017. When Super Junior Heechul claimed that she never dated anyone since her debut, Seohyun quickly clarified it and said:

"But that's not true?"

The idol shocked everyone by confessing she used to date a celebrity, but they broke up and she even cried for him. Seohyun hinted that the guy "retired" from the entertainment scene, but the star didn't clarify if it was a temporary hiatus or leaving the industry permanently.

SNSD Seohyun Dating History: Why Dispatch 'Gave Up' Digging on Idol's Status

Over the past 16 years since Seohyun was introduced as Girls' Generation in 2007, the "Gee" singer has had no dating rumor or report that truly shook the whole entertainment industry.

In the past, she was linked to CNBLUE Jung Yong Hwa in 2010. Both idols once acted as a virtual married couple in "We Got Married," and drew popularity as a "YongSeo" couple. While people claimed that they dated in real life, Jung Yong Hwa drew the line, saying:

"We are only good friends."

After 10 years in 2020, Seohyun was once again caught in a dating rumor but this time, with actor Go Kyung Pyo. They became co-stars in the drama, "Private Lives" and were loved for their natural chemistry. They also earned the OTP nickname, "Pangyo Newlyweds."

If they dated in real life or not, who knows? After all, Seohyun is really good at keeping her matter in private that even the Korean media outlet, "Dispatch," known for exposing celebrities' dating lives, gave up on trying to find a buzz-worthy scoop about her.

In particular, in the early 2010s, the originally nine members of Girls' Generation were followed by Dispatch to dig into their relationship status.

YoonA was then caught dating actor Lee Seung Gi, Taeyeon with EXO Baekhyun, Yuri with baseball player Oh Seung Hwan, Jessica and businessman Tyler as well as Sooyoung with actor Jung Kyung Ho.

However, Seohyun is among the members that Dispatch failed to capture seeing someone. The media followed the idol for 3 years, only to find nothing about her.

Hilariously, Dispatch was only able to release Seohyun's photos of visiting the same cafe in three years, reading books, meeting friends and nothing about dating someone.

In 2019, Seohyun revealed that although she did date, the idol is rather more focused on work than finding love.
