'We Want To Remain Girls' Girls' Generation Begins World Tour in Seoul

Pink is the color that represents Girls' Generation. Going on stage for their first world tour, the members of Girls' Generation chose to don their best color on June 8.

"We still want to be girls, just like we first debuted. So we came on stage in pink outfits today," Girls' Generation shared prior to the start of the concert in Seoul, where 20,000 fans came to see them.

With the grand title of 'World Tour' on their banner, Girls' Generation is hoping to make their concerts unique and a level above others. Taeyeon remarked, "One thing that is special this time is the use of holograms. It is going to be incorporated on stage and it will be amazing." Sooyoung added, "There is on individual performance during this tour. Because there were lots of team performances and songs we wanted to do together, we decided to keep things as a whole."

Girls' Generation's World Tour will continue in Taiwan on July 20 and 21, followed by major cities in other parts of Asia and Americas.

Titled 'Girls & Peace,' the world tour hopes to meet as many fans in as many different countries as possible. Tiffany concluded, "Most of all, we want to remain who we were and always have been. We want our fans to walk away saying. 'That is Girls' Generation'. They did not disappoint.'"
