'Boys Planet' Skyrockets As Most Buzz-Worthy Non-Drama Show

Mnet's "Boys Planet" has been making waves for its popularity. When it premiered its first episode on February 2, it instantly took the No. 1 spot as the show that generated the most buzz, among non-drama TV programs.

In its first week airing, "Boys Planet" made its debut on Good Data Corporation's weekly list, involving non-drama TV programs that created buzz and ratings.

The result was gathered from data analyzed from media exposure, news frequency, online forums, and social media posts.

It was followed by other non-drama programs, which included TV Chosun's "Mister Trot 2," ENA PLAY/SBS Plus's "I Am Solo," MBC's "Home Alone (I Live Alone)," and tvN's "You Quiz on the Block," finishing the list's top 5.

The Top 10 was completed by SBS's legendary program "Running Man," JTBC's "Win or Nothing (Strongest Baseball)," MBC's "The Manager," MBN's "Fire Trot," and JTBC's variety show "Knowing Bros (Ask Us Anything)."

Good Data Corporation Releases Top 10 Appearances In Non-Drama Programs

Aside from its Top 10 non-drama list, Good Data Corporation also announced the Top 10 appearances from non-drama shows.

On its No. 1 spot, "The Glory" star Jung Sung Il claimed the position for his appearance on tvN's "You Quiz on the Block." He was followed by BIGBANG Taeyang at No. 2 when he guested on MBC's "The Manager."

MBC's "Home Alone" earned its place by sweeping four spots in the Top 10, since it featured Jun Hyun Moo who sat on No. 4, BTOB Changsub at No. 7, SHINee Key at No. 9, and SNSD Taeyeon at No. 10.
