BLACKPINK Jisoo Joins Kylie Jenner and Bella Hadid as Most Profitable Celebrities in SNS

Jisoo, the main visuals and vocalist of BLACKPINK proved her influence and impact not only in the music scene but fashion & beauty industry.

Recently, the Lebanese TV channel LBC TV broadcasted a video emphasizing her power through social media.

According to the broadcast channel as per Ten Asia:

"Jisoo, who enjoys high popularity with nearly 70 million Instagram followers along with the youngest billionaire influencer Kylie Jenner and model Bella Hadid, is considered one of the most profitable celebrities in the SNS world."

In particular, Jisoo has been cementing her status as a fashion icon by being a global ambassador to various luxury brands including Cartier and Dior. In 2022, the "Pretty Savage" singer recorded an earned media value (EMV) of 22.662 billion won (~$18,896,000) with just her Instagram posts in the past year.

Last year, it was reported that she also served as the driving force behind French high-end brand Dior's 2022 domestic sales by increasing it by more than 75%, compared to their sales in 2021.

Aside from Instagram, where Jisoo is active, her YouTube channel, "행복지수 103%" (Happiness Jisoo 103 percent) is also making waves by surpassing 3 million subscribers, a month after it was launched on January 2.

Meanwhile, Jisoo being the most profitable among idol in the SNS world is not at all shocking.

While the other three BLACKPINK members were all "Young & Rich" stars, Jisoo according to various sources is the richest member with a whopping net worth of $20 million.

Aside from her earnings from her main job as a singer as well as model and ambassador to numerous brands such as Cartier and Dior, Jisoo is also the only member who established an acting career.

Ahead of BLACKPINK's debut in 2016, Jisoo steal viewers' attention following her cameo in "The Producers" released in 2015. She also made a buzz when she briefly appeared in the hit drama, "Arthdal Chronicles" in 2019.

In 2021 then, she finally debuted as the main lead in her first small-screen project, "Snowdrop," co-starring with actor Jung Hae In.

After acting, Jisoo is now ready to embark on her own journey as a soloist with her debut album set to be released in 2023.

She's the last member to release a solo album, that's why fans at home and abroad are drawing keen attention to it, as it is something fans have hoped for years.

 There is no exact date of its release yet, but its agency YG Entertainment confirmed that "BLACKPINK Jisoo is already recording her solo album and finished taking her album's jacket photos.

Before her solo debut, Jisoo is currently along with other BLACKPINK members to complete their world tour, "BORN PINK."
