JTBC's "Peak Time" has just released its third episode, which focused on the contestants' rivalry and announcement of the first global vote rankings.

Here's what happened.

'Peak Time' Episode 3: Rivalry Heats Up The Stage, Pitting Contestants Against Each Other

On February 22, the third episode of "Peak Time" clutched its way towards viewers who were full of anticipation.

The episode highlighted the segment where all 16 teams were split into eight rival pairs.

During the episode, all groups gave their all, as they faced off by performing the same concept. Each team winner will receive points, which are doubled from their first round of voting.

1. Team 4:00 (BXB) vs. Team 1:00 (DIGNITY)

"Sharp Choreography" concept was the first theme, initiating the rivalry between Team 4:00 and Team 1:00. Team 4:00 (BXB) performed Stray Kids' "Victory Song," earning praises from the judges.

On their counterpart, Team 1:00 (DIGNITY) performed THE BOYZ's "MAVERICK," to which judges were dissatisfied, due to lack of practice and stag presence. In the end, Team 4:00 won the round, gaining votes from all "Peak Time" judges.

On the second concept, "Refreshing" was the follow up, with Team 18:00 (BDC) and Team 23:00 (DGNA) gave both noteworthy performances.

With this theme, Team 18:00 performed ONF's "Beautiful Beautiful," while Team 23:00 shook the stage with PENTAGON's "Shine." Despite both giving their all on the stage, Team 23:00 (DGNA) secured the judges' votes, winning seven out of eight.

"Mischievous" was chosen as the third concept, leading Team 20:00 (M.O.N.T.) and Team 21:00 (24K) to face each other on stage. Team 20:00 went with 2PM's "GO CRAZY!," showing off their incredible vocals and solid rap verses.

Meanwhile, Team 21:00 performed Block B's "Very Good," adding a bit of a laid-back touch. Eventually, Team 20:00 (M.O.N.T.) earned all votes, winning them the round. Team 21:00 (24K) was praised by WINNER Song Mino, but added that their performance should've implemented a more sophisticated style.
