SNSD Tiffany Wore Leftover Clothes During 'FOREVER1'– But She Truly Rocked It!
On March 7, the YouTube channel of fashion magazine Harper's Bazaar Korea uploaded a video, "This was from 15 years ago? Timeless fashion icon, Tiffany Young's #fashiontimeline," featuring the Girls' Generation member.
On this day, Tiffany Young revealed the behind-the-scenes stories of her outfits for Girls' Generation, as well as other clothes she wore for her musical and acting projects.
While dishing on her outfits from the past to present, she particularly emphasized her transition from wearing colorful and mostly pink items to wearing toned down 'fits and makeup.
She also put emphasis on her love for costumes with feathers, saying:
"There's the energy that feathers give you. I love the volume. I also put volume in my hair and I love the energy that feathers give me. I love Elton John," revealing her fashion style reference.
As the interview went on, Tiffany who solidifies her status as an OG "fashion icon" clarified that the members actually don't get to say anything in their outfits and accessories. Nevertheless, Tiffany truly rocked even the most bizarre and unconventional clothes out there!
Tiffany then conveyed:
"Because we went through that phase in our lives, of doing what we were told, looking back now, I understand a lot more and also learned how to improve on that. It was an important lesson learned, how impactful an outfit can be."
In fact, Tiffany shocked viewers when she confessed that what she wore for their "FOREVER1" teaser photos and MV was actually what was left over, apparently after her co-members were given their respective outfits. At the time, the group's concept was "Cosmic Festa" and she indeed understood the assignment with her pink feather ensemble partnered with heels adorned with ribbons!
When her concept photo was released, Tiffany immediately became a hot topic among K-pop enthusiasts for her unrelenting beauty and stunning fashion sense.
The outfit could be overwhelming if another idol would wear it, but the outfit became iconic among netizens and fans simply because Tiffany is the one wearing it!
The "Runaway" singer then expressed her thoughts about it, saying:
"I believe in destiny. That's how much faith I put in feathers. Because of its low volume and three-dimensional effect, I must have posed that way with Elton John in mind.
Thanks to those stilettos with a big ribbon, I got to do the opening for this music video. I got to make the introduction appearance."
SNSD Tiffany Expresses Love For Group
On August 5, 2022, Girls' Generation reunited after five years as a complete group and release its seventh full album, "FOREVER1" with a title track of the same name. This was also dropped to commemorate their 15th debut anniversary.
She continued to share her love for the album, adding:
"The meaning of this activity was too much for me than this process. It was an activity to repay the love a group received for 15 years. I think I'm going to cry if I talk now. I can still see and remember the members next to me."
