TXT Beomgyu has appeared on Marie Claire's March Issue through a photoshoot and an interview about certain aspects of his career.

Firstly, Beomgyu talked about the group's latest album "The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION," which dominated in music charts domestically and internationally. Not only did it rose to prominence digitally, but also flourished through physical sales.

Beomgyu stated that on the album's B-side track "Happy Fools," all members have contributed for its lyrics. Beomgyu shared that "Happy Fools" is his favorite song from "The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION," as it leaves listeners an endearing message about not worrying too much and just enjoy life as it is.

During the song's production, TXT members wrote the lyrics while pondering their similar experiences in life. Beomgyu furthered the message of "Happy Fools" was derived from his understanding of worrying. In the interview, Beomgyu shared he had an experience of fretting his improvement's consistency.

"The song is about enjoying the present moment since it's fleeting, and not worrying too much. All TXT members and I contributed lyrics on 'Happy Fools,' while sharing our similar experiences. It's a song where our honest thoughts are written."

On the next segment, Beomgyu then shared his love for music, especially when he's one of K-pop's known songwriters out there. Beomgyu conveyed that music has always been his passion from the start. In a young age, Beomgyu was fascinated by the joys of music, leading him to discover famous artists such as ABBA and Air Supply.

However, he also revealed his struggles. Through moderation, Beomgyu manages to handle burnout in songwriting, since according to the singer, hobbies can become work that can affect one's burning desire.

"I really enjoy searching up songs from an early age. If I suddenly hear something I'm familiar of, I'd go search it up. That's how it led me to learn about ABBA and Air Supply. Apart from that, writing songs and creating sounds also caught my interest."

"I don't write lyrics every day. No matter what the hobby is, you might dislike it once it becomes work. Usually, I write several songs in one month. Once I do it every day, it reminds me of our choreography. I want to separate my rest and work at best."

What Does Beomgyu Think of TXT Members?

Aside from his personal insights in his creativity, Beomgyu also shared his thoughts regarding his bandmates. The idol was also asked on his extra activities outside of the group and daily routine.

Beomgyu stated, "I'm not much of an outdoor person. I mean, I watch movies and play games with members but that's all inside our dormitory."

He then expressed that TXT members are his source of happiness and driving force outside of their usual K-pop activities. Considering their longtime bond, Beomgyu declared how comfortable they are with each other.

TXT debuted on March 4, 2019, and that alone indicates how long they've been together. Instead of just treating each other as team members, Beomgyu voiced out they now share a familial bond.

"The members are my source of energy and joy outside of music. We're close enough to joke that we've had enough of each other's presence. In our vacant days, we still have fun and hang out."

"We've been close enough to tell members' feelings just by looking at each other's faces. Our bond has encompassed our team dynamics, as we now treat each other as family."
