MAMAMOO+ New Track THIS Month
On March 13, MAMAMOO+ sub-unit Moonbyul and Solar announced that they will make a return for their next single album entitled 'Act 1, Scene 1,' on March 29.
The duo revealed the 'Act 1, Scene 1' release schedule, including when concept images, music video teasers, and more will be available.
For the next two weeks, Solar and Moonbyul will reveal three concept images before a yet-to-be-titled pre-release single and an accompanying music video are made available.
Then, throughout the course of the next week, the duo will reveal three more concept images and three music video teasers before the debut of "Act 1, Scene 1" on March 29.
During that week, the group will also release a teaser for their upcoming album.
The main artwork for the comeback, which featured a vivid pink backdrop and "ACT 1, SCENE 1" printed in bold black script, was first leaked as a tease by the group.
Moreover, many fans quickly pointed out, though, that the females are merely dropping hints for the public to find.
Several fans noted right once that the letter "C" formed the shape of a crescent moon, paying homage to MoonByul (referred to as Moonster or Moonstar by fans).
Together with the film's aesthetic, the font employed was a nod to Moonbyul's earlier solo record.
Fans, however, weren't slow to point out that the bright pink screamed Solar and that if you connect the moons, you get the shape of the sun.
MooMoos and band members often refer to Solar as the Sun. For instance, the females in MAMAMOO's song "Yes I am" pronounce 4 with the Sun.
MAMAMOO+ Reveals Tracklist
This tracklist indicates that their first single album, "ACT 1, SCENE 1," contains four songs, among them the title track "GGBB," as well as the songs "Chico Malo," "LLL," and "LLL Aniri," which will only be found on the CD.

Furthermore, this was not the first time that Solar and Moonbyul had their song together. They released their first song featuring BIG Naughty, South Korean rapper entitled 'Better', last 2022.
After MAMAMOO's compilation album "I Say MAMAMOO: The Best" in August of last year, "Better" represents both Solar and Moonbyul's first non-solo releases in a year.
This happened soon after Wheein, who is still a member of the group, left her longtime agency, RBW Entertainment.
The members of MAMAMOO have been concentrating on solo projects for the most of the last two years.
Members Solar, Moonbyul, and Wheein each released a mini-album during that time, while Hwasa released both the single "Just Talking To Myself" and the album "Guilty Pleasure" in the same period.
