TWICE, BLACKPINK, More Rule Over Circle Weekly Charts — Who Earned 1st Place?

Circle Charts has revealed the artists who reigned over their weekly charts, which covered March 5 to 11.

Which artists made it on the charts?

TWICE, BLACKPINK, More Dominate Weekly Charts, NewJeans Receives Triple Crown

Circle Chart (formerly known as Gaon) announced their weekly charts, which involved popular artists who made a mark on the music scene. The charts cover the period from March 5 to 11, and was sourced from the weekly data gathered by Circle.

In the charts enumerated, the categories included Album, Download, Streaming, Global K-pop, and Social Charts.

Before the month of March began, fans were already excited for its comeback roster, since it lists many of K-pop's best artists such as TWICE, BTS J-Hope, and many more. While many of these artists have already made their entry for March, more are expected to drop new songs.

Album Chart

TWICE reigned over the weekly chart's physical album category with their newly released "READY TO BE," which took the No. 1 spot.

It was followed by CRAVITY's mini album "MASTER : PIECE," which claimed No. 2. Meanwhile, SHINee Onew's first-ever full-length album "Circle" made its entry on No. 3, and separately, its POCA version also joined in at No. 6.

SEVENTEEN's 2021 mini album "Attacca" rose back up again on No. 4, while TXT's mini album "The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION" made it on the No. 5 spot.

Download Chart

In the download chart, SHINee Onew's solo title track "O (Circle)" capped the chart by snagging the No. 1 spot. It was then trailed by Lee Chan Won's "Wish Lanterns" on No. 2.

Lim Young Woong's name rolled over the chart, earning two places with "London Boy" at No. 3 and "Polaroid" at No. 4. Lastly, CRAVITY's "Groovy" earned the fifth spot, completing the top 5.

Digital & Streaming Charts

NewJeans didn't just top both digital and streaming charts, but also retained their triple crown on Circle Chart. Notably, they have also dominated the Global K-pop chart of March 5 to 11. NewJeans collected the top three spots with "Ditto" at No. 1, "OMG" at No. 2," and "Hype Boy" at No, 3.

Meanwhile, STAYC's viral song "Teddy Bear" climbed on the chart's No. 4. It was pursued by Younha's "Event Horizon" at No. 5.

In the streaming chart, almost all songs were exactly placed the same except for "Event Horizon" and "Teddy Bear" swapping their places on No. 4 and No. 5, respectively.

Global K-pop Chart

As previously mentioned, NewJeans topped the Global K-pop chart with "OMG" at No. 1 and "Ditto" at No. 2. Their song "Hype Boy" also grabbed the fourth place.

BTS J-hope's collab track with singer J. Cole "on the street" entered on the chart's No. 3, while LE SSERAFIM claimed No. 5, with their song "ANTIFRAGILE."

Social Chart

  

The social chart was ruled by BLACKPINK, who maintained their position at No. 1. They were followed by BTS at No. 2, NewJeans at No. 3, Choi Yu Ree at No. 4. Lastly, TWICE rose to the fifth spot, completing the top five.
