Sung Hanbin, an idol trainee who's currently dominating as #1 in the audition program, "Boys Planet" draws mixed reactions after his past photo circulated on sns and various online communities.

On March 20, another pre-debut photo of the trainee was spread online and while his initial glow-up images were well-received, there is a photo that has been causing fans and K-Netz to raise their brows.

In particular, the photo which sparked a heated debate showed Sung Hanbin staring at the camera, topless. While this could be an awesome fanservice for fans to admire his physique and handsomeness, some netters who saw it rather felt awkward, as he was actually not alone in the photo.

Along with Hanbin, eight girl friends of the idol aspirant joined her wearing only tube tops. As they were sitting close to each other, there is an illusion that they were completely naked because of the tube tops being covered by the person in front of them.

As soon as the photo circulated on various social media platforms and web forums, netizens are arguing about what to feel about Hanbin.

Ultimately, some netizens say it is shocking. Internet users continued by stating that it is inappropriate, considering Hanbin's age when the photo was taken. The young star is currently 21 years old and regardless if it was taken last year or a later date, he was only 20 at that time or even younger.

Some left comments such as:

• "Isn't it the first time that a male idol took a photo with his top taken off?"
• "Honestly, my eyes were suddenly awake after seeing this photo."
• "Photos with eight women in her 20s, a major turnoff."

On the other hand, other netizens and fans defended Sung Hanbin from hurtful comments against him and stated:

• "I think taking a photo topless is just a concept."
•  "I think it's the most interesting pre-debut picture I've ever seen."

Sung Hanbin fans also took to SNS to explain that the photos were taken for Spella's tutting dance crew, a popular team in South Korea. Earlier when he was introduced in the music scene, it was revealed that the star is actually a dancer studying for years, specializing in waacking and tutting before dreaming to become an idol.
