Former WANNA ONE Member Exposes His Unchanging Visual
On March 23, Former WANNA ONE member Lai Kuanlin, famously known as Kuanlin recently, was the center of the talk in an online forum due to his recent photos showing his other side.
In the online communities, fans and online users were shocked because of his recent photos that exposed his handsome and mature physique compared to his pictures when he debuted in WANNA ONE, now a disbanded group.
Lai Kuanlin is the only Taiwanese former member of WANNA ONE, a project group from "Produce 101 Season 2". He joined the survival show in 2017 and luckily placed in the seventh spot.
He remained in WANNA ONE until the group's disbandment in 2019.
On the bright side, while Lai Kuanlin is still a member of WANNA ONE, he achieved popularity and fame in China, allowing him to score as the ambassador of different brands. Because of his handsome face, he became a brand ambassador of Dr. Jart China from 2018 to 2019.
After the disbandment, Lai Kuanlin continuously garnered fame in China and decided to pursue his career and solo activities. He debuted in the drama "A Little Thing Called First Love".
Moreover, Lai Kuanlin had an opportunity to bounce back into the K-pop industry in 2019. He signed under Cube Entertainment together with PENTAGON Wooseok. Wooseok x Kuanlin debuted with the mini-album "9801" and the lead single, "I'm A Star."
Unfortunately, in July 2019, Kuanlin requested to breach his exclusive contract with Cube Entertainment. The management sold Guanlin's management rights to a third party without notifying him. Kuanlin won a lawsuit against the agency since the Seoul Central District Court ruled in his favor, ending his contract with the company in July 2021.
He pursued his acting career in China and even won multiple awards as a director for the film Winter & Spring Are Fighting. Guanlin left the K-pop industry and succeeded in acting and directing. Lai Kuanlin also starred in the youth drama "Don't Think About Interrupting My Studies." and "Love the Way You Are."
