BTS Jimin's upcoming solo track "Face-off" has been deemed unfit for broadcast by KBS, despite the massive anticipation for his first solo debut.

On March 22, KBS officially revealed the results of their music review, which featured the upcoming music releases of Jimin.

According to the report, three of the songs from Jimin's solo album "FACE" were included, namely "Face-off," "Like Crazy," and "Alone." With this inclusion, the aim was to consider deliberation for the program.

However, KBS unveiled that the solo track "Face-off" was deemed unfit for broadcast because of its vulgar language, indecent expressions, and certain slangs.

Notably, Jimin has participated on the song's production alongside fellow member RM, together with Pdogg, GHSTLOOP, and EVAN.

On March 24, Jimin will be making his much-anticipated solo debut with "FACE" and album's title track, "Like Crazy." Jimin has also released his pre-release single "Set Me Free Pt. 2," boasting off aggressive choreography and an anthemic tune.

On March 21, Jimin uploaded the official teaser for "Like Crazy," causing anticipation from their fandom, ARMYs. Even though "Face-off" was designated as unfit for broadcast, the expectation for Jimin's solo debut is still unwavering.

BTS Jimin Becomes First Korean Soloist to Break THIS Spotify Record, Other Achievements

In other news, Jimin has also broken another record on Spotify. On February 12, Spotify revealed that BTS Jimin's solo songs has now accumulated 700 million combined streams.

These songs are comprised of "Filter," "Serendipity," "Intro: Serendipity," and "Lie."

Apart from his music releases with the group and his upcoming solo career, Jimin has also won in various polls. In 2020, Jimin dominated in the list of "Asian Flower Boy" among heartthrobs who are already popular.

SPUR MAGAZINE revealed the list on its official site, comprised of Asian men who are drawing interest from fans all over the word. On the list, Jimin was considered as the most visually appealing, leading him to the top the rankings.   

The media stated:

"Hollywood superstars are currently being surpassed in popularity by Asian celebrities, whose entertainment is now accessible to everybody thanks to the growth of SNS and streaming services."

"The chosen artists are attractive men who represent Asians and have intense charm in their singing, acting, as well as fashion sense."

With Jimin's exciting debut on his end, it's expected for the idol to have a successful career in K-pop. Since BTS have truly proved themselves as a powerhouse of K-pop, it's only natural for Jimin to shine and make his mark on the music industry.
