BIGBANG G-Dragon Sends VIPs, BLACKJACKs In Frenzy Following 'Typo'

Applers and Daragon fans were all rejoicing!

On March 27, BIGBANG G-Dragon, also known as GD caught the attention of his followers after adding his stage name to his bio on Instagram.

Weirdly, the male icon spelled his name wrongly, writing "G-DARAGON" instead.

While non-K-pop fans will most likely think that it was obviously a typographical error and that it was an honest mistake, VIPs (BIGBANG fandom) and BLACKJACKs (2NE1 fans) think that it was rather intentional, referencing GD and Dara's couple ship/loveteam name!

As soon as the said "daragon" typo became known among fans, the topic immediately became a hot trend on Twitter, especially waking up the hopes and dreams of Applers, the couple ship's supporters.

As if G-Dragon was truly teasing fans, it took him a couple of hours before he eventually took down and corrected the spelling of his name. It seems like GD was also aware of the frenzy he created!

Ultimately, some fans attested that it was unintentional. Despite this, the said typo still made applers' hearts happy, given the decreasing public interaction between the two involved idols, Dara and GD.

For those who are not aware, a lot of fans, especially VIPs and BLACKJACKs were shipping the K-pop legends due to their undeniable chemistry and friendship. Because of their closeness, and their ability to show their genuine personality to each other, some fans were pushing them to turn into lovers.

In the past, Dara and GD were embroiled in dating rumors numerous times, citing proofs such as when they were spotted in the same place together, skinship, wearing of couple items and sweet anecdotes with each other.

However, both parties repeatedly clarified then that they were only friends, and implied in interviews that the deepest feelings that they could have for each other were the same as brothers and sisters.

Despite them denying it, fans can see that their actions were implying otherwise! Fans even stated even the media can't decipher what kind of relationship they truly have.

Applers Explain Why They Think GD Writing 'DARAGON' Is Not a 'Typo'

Just then, a lot of applers explained why they think GD wrote it knowing its meaning. In the past, the male idol is known for liking fans' posts on Instagram, as long as it was related to him. The OTP fandom then noticed that the singer has been consistently liking posts involving Dara and "Daragon" since May 2022!

Thus, fans are assuming that it wasn't the first time he encountered the word and he must be aware of its real meaning as well.
