BTS Suga Releases 'People Pt 2' With Top Soloist IU
On April 7, at 1 p.m. KST, Suga and IU have finally arrived together on the music scene with their second duet "People Pt. 2."
Going by the pseudonym Agust D, Suga offered fans an easy-listening experience with "People Pt. 2." The song captures listeners with beats, fueled by IU's amazing vocals and Suga's stellar rap.
"People Pt. 2" is also about how relationships continue to endure despite hardships, goodbyes, doubt, sadness, and love.
At the end of the music video, an interview-like sequence was added. Suga left an imparting message to viewers that the song was written by him during COVID-19 pandemic, and stated the song contains the context of hardship endurance, a feeling which Suga had felt, as well as wanted to tell himself.

"People brought up to me that this song mirrors on what I have to say, in terms of what I feel. They told me that the song is like a reflection of my inner thoughts, which is correct."

Suga will release "D-DAY" on April 21, at 1 p.m. KST. The release will be his first installment in the "Agust D" trilogy, raising anticipation from fans worldwide.
Meanwhile on April 6, BTS has dropped a teaser poster of Suga, where the rapper is shown to be looking up at the sky while holding a microphone. The poster is for Suga's first-ever solo documentary "SUGA: Road to D-DAY."
