BTS Jin, TWICE Tzuyu Hailed Hottest K-pop Idols Among Japanese Teens

On April 19, the result of a popularity survey conducted in Japan became a hot topic in online Korean communities for the K-pop artists that made it to the list!

In particular, a popular website earlier organized a survey among 20, 804 Japanese teenagers to determine the hottest K-pop idols that contributed to the fast widespread of K-pop in the foreign country.

As a result, then, the leader of the biggest boy group in the world BTS Jin topped the rankings as the hottest male idol in Japan among teens! The star particularly drew lots of love for his sculptured features and tall height which made him gain the nickname, "Worldwide Handsome." Aside from this, Jin was also lauded for being an idol full-packed of skills, evident in his successful solo release, "Astronaut."

On the flip side, TWICE Tzuyu reigned in the female category, particularly highlighting her CG-like visuals that never fail to shine whenever she's on stage.

K-Netz who saw this result left various comments such as:

• "Tzuyu is number 1? It's surprising, she's not even a Japanese member."
• "Tzuyu is famous for being pretty even in Japan. There are always pretty things everywhere in a ranking vote like that."
• "Jin!"
• "No. 1 was unexpected. The one is currently in the army while the other one came from a group with Japanese members but a Taiwanese member won."

Hottest K-pop Idols Among Japanese Teens: ENHYPEN Ni-Ki, TWICE Sana, SHINee Taemin, More!

Following BTS Jin, ENHYPEN Ni-Ki proved he's "Japan's son" after ranking second place. Another fourth-gen idol who entered the list is Stray Kids Lee-Know, who ranked third place.

Along with Jin, his co-members V and Jungkook made it into the Top 5, as fourth and fifth place, respectively, while ASTRO Eunwoo ranked 6th.

Lastly, SHINee Taemin showed off his unrelenting status in Japan after ranking seventh place, the only second-gen male idol in the list.

In the female category, TWICE dominated the top 10 aside from Tzuyu sitting atop it. Sana ranked second place, Mina (3rd), Jihyo (4th), Momo (5th), Nayeon (6th) and Dahyun (8th).

NiziU Ayaka, a member of the sister group of TWICE in Japan also entered 7th place.

To complete the top 10, BLACKPINK Lisa and Jisoo secured their places in #9 and #10, respectively.
