aespa Winter, ITZY Ryujin Shine at Gucci Cruise 2024 Fashion Show

On May 16, the Italian luxury brand finally held the much-awaited "Gucci Cruise 2024 Fashion Show" at Geunjeongjeon Hall in Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul!

As this was the first cruise fashion show to be held in Asia, the prestigious event welcomed a star-studded lineup of fashion figures and celebrities.

The cruise collection, which was aimed at upper-class Europeans who go on a vacation to warm places to avoid cold winter weather, is well-known as a show that gives a glimpse of the fashion trend for the following spring.

About 570 local and international stars joined the event, including Gucci ambassadors IU and NewJeans Hanni, as well as top Korean stars Lee Jung Jae, Kim Hye Soo, Kim Hee Ae, ITZY Ryujin, THE BOYZ Juyeon and Younghoon, aespa Winter, IVE Leeseo, more.

At the event, Korean media outlets who attended the event uploaded the celebrities' photos in real-time from the photo-op, which showed the beauty and style of each guest.

Although the many guests got rave reviews for their visuals, aespa Winter and ITZY Ryujin particularly stood out among fourth-gen idols.

Starting with Winter, she took the internet by storm with her sharp and cold beauty, wearing a cruise collection comprised of a midriff top and red leather pencil-cut skirt.

People were truly stunned by her beauty and elegance that it created multiple topics on popular forums, rising the real-time trends. Social media users also didn't waste any time to praise the star.

While aespa Winter and ITZY Ryujin dominated the internet, fans expressed disappointment with NewJeans Hanni's look at the Gucci Cruise 2024 Fashion Show.

In the event, the "OMG" singer wore a cream-colored knitted dress and she completed the 'fit with black stockings and black shoes.

While Hanni looked adorable in it, people couldn't help but be saddened since she looked "ordinary" compared to aespa Winter and ITZY Ryujin.

Fans stated that Hanni's coords could have been styled better, given that she's the global ambassador.

People continued to criticize her "hemeko" (hair and makeup), stating that her bangs were oddly chopped and her makeup didn't suit her beautiful face as well.

Others claimed that the Winter and Ryujin outshined Hanni.
