Eris Think EXO Hinted 'Slave Contract' Issue In Previous Episode of 'Divine Rookie Kai's Evaluation'
On June 1, TikTok user @luvexosm uploaded a video on the social media platform, showcasing a clip from EXO's variety skit "Divine Rookie Kai's Evaluation."
For additional context, the March 15 and March 24 episodes comprised of EXO members roleplaying as judges to evaluate Kai if he's up for the challenge in debuting as a K-pop idol.
The episode gathered in laughs from both the members and Eris, who enjoyed the show for its hilarious set pieces and interaction between EXO members.
The group showcased what most audition would appear in real life, threading through evaluations of Kai's talents, personality, charms, and stage presence.

However, in the 20:12 mark of episode 2 (March 24), Kai has finally been called in front to receive the results of his hard work, which was cited by the viral TikTok clip.

The video uploaded by @luvexosm gained attention from netizens for its dialogue and context, to which they think that EXO has "subtly implied" the slave contract and shares distribution issues. These two problems are heavily involved in the current case between SM Entertainment and EXO-CBX.
The translation is as follows:
Chanyeol: "We have one condition. If you can accept it, we'll let you debut. 40% of your income."
Suho: "You will have to stay a bit on the quiet side, don't go on variety shows. You can express everything through dance and singing."
Kai: "Then, you want me to hide my personality, only to dance, perform, and live like a machine?"
Suho: "Yes. Also, almost 50% of the earnings you get, (laughs) will come to us."

This raised the eyebrows of Eris, who claimed that EXO had lowkey shaded SM Entertainment. Fans shook their heads, as they remarked that their conversation during Kai's "final evaluation" hit too close to home. Others suggested all EXO members to leave SM Entertainment and open their own company.
