On July 13th, an article titled, "This is Fantagio," was posted on ASTRO's official fan cafe. The agency said:

Her letter, delivered by the agency, began with:

"Hello, I'm Bin's mother. First of all, I was comforted by the letters, flowers, and many sincerity of the fans who visited [Moonbin’s memorial spaces] despite the long travel. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I also hope that fans will be with a lot of comfort and health as well."

As she thanked fans for commemorating her son, Moonbin's mother started addressing the unfortunate and groundless rumors about the idol written in online communities.

"The reason why I wrote this, even though I know everyone remembers and misses my son, was because I saw that some minority communities produce indiscriminate rumors."

She expressed her true feelings, adding:

"From a mother's point of view, it's hard to see these rumors, and I'm also worried that many people will be damaged by these false rumors including the fans who sincerely miss my son."
