10 K-pop Girl Groups Dominating in June 2023 Brand Reputation Rankings: BLACKPINK, (G)I-DLE, More!
The Korean Business Research Institute has unveiled their newest brand reputation rankings for June, and this time, it involves K-pop girl groups. According to their results, the coverage for the data was from May 11 to June 11.
The brand reputation rankings were also determined through several factors such as the participation of fans, indexes, and overall media coverage.
Here are the top 10 most popular K-pop girl groups in June 2023!
1. BLACKPINK
For the month of June, BLACKPINK reigned the rankings at the No. 1 spot after garnering a brand reputation index of 6,532,714. For the group's positivity-negativity analysis, they received a score of 85.07 percent positive reactions.
Moreover, BLACKPINK also trended due to members Jisoo temporarily withdrawing from their "BORN PINK" world tour due to contracting COVID-19, and Jennie, who left their Melbourne concert midway because of her poor health condition.
2. (G)I-DLE
After earning their impressive score jump of 52.89 percent, fourth-gen girl group (G)I-DLE claimed the second place in the list, leading to a brand reputation index of 4,506,615.
3. NewJeans
NewJeans secure the third place with a score of 4,462,729 for their June brand reputation index.
4. aespa
aespa made a move on the fourth place, placing with a brand reputation index of 4,344,344. This is due to their 35.67 percent increase, highlighting the group's popularity.
5. TWICE
TWICE completed the top five for June, since they've garnered a 24.87 percent score increase and a brand reputation index of 3,956,497.
Furthermore, the group also trended for their historic concert at the SoFi Stadium at Los Angeles, as well as upcoming endeavors from soon-to-be soloist Jihyo and Japanese trio MiSaMo, consisting of members Mina, Sana, and Momo.
6. FIFTY FIFTY
FIFTY FIFTY garnered a brand reputation index of 3,835,374. They have also made buzz on the music charts with their viral hit song "Cupid."
7. IVE
IVE received a brand reputation index of 3,737,885 for the month of June.
8. LE SSERAFIM
LE SSERAFIM received a brand reputation index of 3,481,919, earning the rankings' 8th place.
9. SNSD
SNSD proved their everlasting popularity on the ninth place with a brand reputation index of 2,917,789.
10. Red Velvet
Lastly, Red Velvet completed the top 10 with a brand reputation index of 2,580,643.
