'EXO is EXOING': 'EXIST' Makes #1 Debut on iTunes Charts + Surpasses 3 Million Streams on MelOn

EXO is living up to their title as the "Nation's Pick" after their seventh full album "EXIST" made waves across iTunes charts and streaming platform MelOn.

EXO's Album 'EXIST' Debuts #1 on Worldwide & European iTunes Charts + Exceeds 3 Million Streams on MelOn

On July 11, EXO's much-awaited full album "EXIST" has reached new milestones on iTunes and MelOn.

According to World Music Awards, "EXIST" has propelled its first entry with an amazing No. 1 debut on the Worldwide & European iTunes charts, after charting in at least 62 countries. This also led the album to enter the top 3 on the US iTunes charts.

Apart from the album, its title track "Cream Soda" also landed a spot at No. 1 on the Worldwide iTunes Song chart, after landing in at least 43 countries.

Meanwhile, in Hanteo chart, their album "EXIST" has exceeded 1,074,914 sales units, setting a new personal record for first day sales.

This figure broke both of their previous first-day sales record of 647,010 and first-week sales record of 902, which were both garnered by their 2021 album "DON'T FIGHT THE FEELING."

EXO's "EXIST" is now the group's first album to exceed 1 million in terms of first-week sales. This also led EXO to become the male artist with the seventh-highest ranking in first day Hanteo sales, trailing groups BTS, Stray Kids, SEVENTEEN, TXT, ENHYPEN, and ZEROBASEONE.

Furthermore, the album was also certified double gold on QQMusic after three minutes of its release.

On streaming platform MelOn, "EXIST" became the second fastest album of all time to exceed 1 million streams. As of June 11, the album has garnered over 3,000,000 streams, highlighting EXO's unwavering impact and popularity.

In other news, EXO has also set a new record in YouTube, surpassing any SM Entertainment artist with their 2021 title track "Don't fight the feeling."

On June 7, 2021, at 6 p.m. KST, EXO released the music video for their song "Don't fight the feeling," sending the internet to a frenzy.

By 9 p.m. KST, a few hours after its release, the MV managed to accumulate five million views, leading it to become SM Entertainment's fastest music video to achieve the feat.

It also became the fastest SM music video to achieve one million comments and exceeding two million likes. As of July 11, the music video currently garners a total of 110,632,888 views on YouTube.
