STAYC Confirms Comeback Scheduled for August + High Up Entertainment Releases Official Announcement

The STAYC girls are ready to slay again with their upcoming new music!

On July 17, Korean news outlet Hankook Ilbo disclosed that STAYC will be having their comeback on August, and that the group is now in the final stages of planning.

Following this, STAYC's label High Up Entertainment shared a brief statement, stating the girl group is indeed on the process of comeback preparations, and that the album is scheduled to drop on August 16.

"STAYC is currently preparing an album, which aims to be released on August 16," High Up Entertainment stated.

STAYC's upcoming album will be their first comeback in six months, since the February release of their fourth single album "Teddy Bear," and its title track of the same name.

Meanwhile, their latest title track "Teddy Bear" made waves across social media and the K-pop industry. With the track's catchy fun sound and steady impact, this led STAYC to earn a total of six music show wins during the course of their promotions. As of July 17, the music video for "Teddy Bear" currently garners 47,519,867 views on YouTube.

STAYC Wins 'Global Rising Artist' Award in 2022 MelOn Music Awards (MMA) + More K-pop Artists Take Home Trophies

In other news, STAYC made a good course on the year 2022 and has bagged an award in the 2022 MelOn Music Awards.

On November 26, 2022, the annual MelOn Music Awards was held at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, South Korea. This event marked the ceremony's first offline event in three years, due to the limitation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic since 2020.

Regarding its category, the artists who released music between November 8, 2021, to November 3, 2022, were qualified to join the show's awarding. Among the long list of awardees, STAYC earned the Global Rising Artist award.
