'Queendom Puzzle' Episode 7: Show Eliminates 5 Contestants, Reveals Project Girl Group Name
Mnet's "Queendom Puzzle" has aired its highly anticipated seventh episode, which focused on the program's first elimination, project girl group name announcement, and more.

'Queendom Puzzle' Episode 7: Show Eliminates 5 Contestants, Reveals Name of Upcoming Project Girl Group
On the Episode 7 of "Queendom Puzzle," viewers were at the edge of their seats while anticipating the winners of the All-Rounder Battle, which concluded on the previous sixth airing.
The seventh episode showed its MC Taeyeon, who announced that Puzzle Team had won all five consecutive rounds against Queendom team with a tallied score of 1,146. Meanwhile, Queendom Team's score was revealed to be 812.
This triumph led Puzzle Team to earn the benefit of 20,000 points, which were added on their individual voting results, therefore boosting the probability of advancing on the next round.
Contestants were surprised of Taeyeon's announcement of the show's upcoming semi-finals, where they would each be performing one of three brand new songs. These songs include "PUZZLIN," (co-composed by DAY6 Young K), "I DGA," (co-composed by iKON Bobby), or "I Do" (co-composed by Ryan Jhun).
The 26 contestants were then split into three groups, based on the voting results from viewers who chose which contestants are perfect for each song. Taeyeon then reminded everyone that before the semi-finals can begin, five contestants would be eliminated first, rendering the song member lineups as temporary.

Afterwards, the show transitioned to the live elimination ceremony. This featured the 26 contestants delivering a group performance of "RISE UP."

When the girls finished their majestic performance, Taeyeon then revealed the name of the program's upcoming project girl group. The MC stated that ELZ U+P (with "Ellz Up" as its pronunciation) will be their group name, and how it's an anagram of the word "PUZZLE" itself.
Taeyeon proceeded to reveal the show's current top 7 contestants, who were ranked based on the global vote, alongside the benefits given from the show's battles. However, the announcement for the top seven contestants were random with no specific order.
After the airing of episode 7, the program restarted the votes, which means that the current rankings of all contestants will not influence the final outcome.

"Queendom Puzzle" will air its semi-finals on August 8 and finals on August 15 in live broadcast, after releasing a special episode on August 1. On the semi-finals, a total of seven contestants will be eliminated, leaving the remaining 21 to proceed on its climactic finale.
