Stray Kids To Collab With THIS Popular Anime OST Singer in Upcoming Japanese EP

STAYs just can't hide their chill as Stray Kids dropped the DETAILS for their upcoming Japanese EP! The group will especially enter their "ROCK" era in collaboration with this popular Japanese soloist!

Stray Kids' Japan 1st EP: 'Social Path' (feat LiSA), Release Date, Concept + Tracklist

On July 27, the details for Stray Kids' much-awaited Japan 1st EP was unveiled!

Following their Japan debut with "Mixtape: On Track" in 2020, the idol group has been constantly releasing digital singles and albums. In fact, their first Japanese album, "The Sound," is their most recent release in the market (February 2023).

About four months since their latest Japan release, Stray Kids hinted at their comeback in the country with their first JPN EP, which was initially confirmed in June.

On this day, more details and information were finally revealed about the album, unveiling the tracklist and must-look-forward collab with a famous Japanese artist!

According to reports, Stray Kids' Japan 1st EP has a double-title track, including the Japanese version of its b-sidetrack, "Super Bowl," from its Korean 3rd full-length album, "5-STAR," released on June 2.

Along with this, the eight-member group will introduce a new Japanese song titled, "Social Path," and it will showcase the group's synergy with the popular Japanese solo artist, LiSA!

LiSA is popular among anime fans for lending her voice to numerous opening anime songs and OSTs for "Fate/Zero," "Sword Art Online," and more.

Ahead of that, LiSA cemented her status in the Japanese music scene by showing her abilities as a vocalist for the band, "Girls Dead Monster" in the hit 2010 anime, "Angel Beats."

She is also widely popular for singing "Gurenge," the original soundtrack of the hit anime series "Demon Slayer."

Regarding the concept of the song, "Social Path," which means "to pave the way," aims to show the history of the two groups and their powerful singing skills.

Their synergy is expected to come out through the rock-based song written by Stray Kids' producer unit, 3RACHA!

Meanwhile, the tracklist was also unveiled, wherein it will comprise the double title tracks and their instrumentals, as well as the third song, titled "Butterflies."

Stray Kids' first Japan EP, which is composed of the double title track, "Social Path" (feat. LiSA) and "Super Bowl" (Japanese ver.), will be released on September 6.

Stray Kids Announces 5-STAR Dome Tour 2023 in Japan + Special Concert in Seoul

Meanwhile, prior to their return to the Japanese music scene with their EP, Stray Kids will open its full-fledged activities in the country this 2023 with its first dome tour in Japan.

In June, JYP Entertainment announced Stray Kids' first dome tour, "5-Star Dome Tour 2023," which will be held in a total of eight large-scale dome tours in four Japanese cities, starting with Fukuoka PayPay Dome in Japan from August 16th to 17th, Vantelin Dome Nagoya from September 2nd to 3rd, Kyocera Dome in Osaka from 9th to 10th, and Tokyo Dome from October 28th to 29th.

Stray Kids will also conduct a special concert in Seoul from September 30th to October 1st.
