FIFTY FIFTY's Lawsuit Mediation Has Stans Doubting: 'It's too late, no one will support greedy kids'

While FIFTY FIFTY's lawsuit can lead to an agreement through a mediation court, stans are wondering if second chances would still be open for the group.

Here's what people are saying.

FIFTY FIFTY's Lawsuit Ends in Mediation Court + Stans React to Group's Legal Update, Future

FIFTY FIFTY's ongoing lawsuit has been updated, leading to the reaction of netizens.

On August 1, the 50th District of Seoul's Central Court had transferred FIFTY FIFTY's lawsuit against ATTRAKT to a mediation court, according to Korean news outlet Yonhap News.

While specific details for the hearing's schedule have not been released, the purpose of mediation courts focuses on determining an agreement between two opposing parties, instead of a ruling. Such cases are transferred to the mediation court when judges have concluded how a legal battle can be resolved through a certain agreement.

The mediation court will offer a compromise if an agreement is not attained willingly. It will also undergo the process of legal ruling if both parties decide to accept the offer. However, if both parties reject the offer, the case will be transferred back to a traditional court.

FIFTY FIFTY filed a lawsuit against ATTRAKT on June 28. According to their statement, the group had problems with the agency's transparency of settlements, disclosure of a member's health situation, and forced schedules.

  •  "Too late, nobody is willing to support dumb and greedy kids again."
  •  "Just pay back the contract cancellation fee and call it a day. Don't come to an agreement."
  •  "If they return with the same members, I won't be supporting them. It's too late since they had so many chances to do it right."
  •  "How can they go back? It's already over and no one will support them."
  •  "I don't know what their CEO is feeling right now, but I won't be supporting their content or music anymore. This is my first time seeing such back-stabbing idols."
