On August 8, BIGHIT MUSIC officially announced the title for BTS V's solo debut album, revealed to be "Layover." The agency also uploaded an exciting teaser clip on Twitter, which shows a mysterious parcel dropping off on an apartment.
For its caption, BIGHIT MUSIC wrote, "From V," indicating that the delivery will be from the artist's best regards. According to BIGHIT MUSIC, "Layover" is scheduled to drop on September 8, at 1 p.m., KST.

On BTS's official Weverse account, BIGHIT MUSIC released a notice containing more details about V's solo album. The agency shared that "Layover" will be comprised of six tracks, including a bonus track and five other songs. In the tracklist, the agency described each songs' characteristics and genres, giving insights on the album's musicality.
BIGHIT MUSIC also informed everyone that five tracks will have a music video. Furthermore, the agency also encouraged fans to support V in his journey as a solo artist.

"Hello. This is BIGHIT MUSIC.
We are thrilled to share more details regarding "Layover," BTS member V's upcoming first solo album. "Layover" will contain a total of six tracks, which will include five songs and a bonus one.
We highly recommend everyone to listen to it in this sequence from start to finish, in order to fully appreciate the album's musical flow.
1. Rainy Days
In this track, V's vocals will meld beautifully with the sound of rain and white noises that are heard in everyday life. This song will tug at the heartstrings of listeners.
2. Blue
"Blue" will pay homage to old school R&B genre with a modern twist, which adds a special flair to its track.
3. Love Me Again
"Love Me Again" is a light and captivating R&B track with an alluring vibe that liners long. V's signature baritone vocals will shine in this song.
4. Slow Dancing
This track will be the focus of the album, featuring a '70s romantic soul style track that emits a laid-back and free-spirited feeling.
5. For Us
This is a pop R&B track that will leave a lasting impression of the entire album. "For Us" will serve as an epilogue, a song that stirs up emotions with V's singing and its unique lyrics.
6. Slow Dancing (Piano Ver.)
