'Queendom Puzzle' Episode 9: Program Eliminates 7 Contestants, New Song Performances, More Announced!
Mnet has released the ninth episode of "Queendom Puzzle," which is closing near its climax. On the show's August 8 airing, the program broadcasted its semifinal round on livestreams, giving viewers the opportunity to vote for their favorite group picks in real time.
The semifinals led the contestants to split into three groups to perform one of the three new songs that were co-composed by popular artists in the K-pop industry. This includes songs "PUZZLIN" (DAY6 Young K), "i DGA" (iKON Bobby), or "I Do" (Ryan Jhun).
On the episode 7 of "Queendom Puzzle," the show had eliminated a total of five contestants, leading the "I DGA" team to require one more participant to complete a seven-membered lineup. Meanwhile, one member needed to be subtracted from the "I Do" team.

Eventually, the team numbers were settled, with contestant former "I Do" team member Elly of Weki Meki ending up on the "i DGA" team. This completed the final lineup for each track.

When the final scores have been tallied based on the audience's votes, it was revealed that the "i DGA" team had secured the victory, earning them the benefit of 30,000 points. These points were added to their individual voting score.
Final Ruling: Which Contestants Became New Top 7?
MC Taeyeon also announced that the members of upcoming project girl group EL7Z U+P, can continue to promote independently, whether with their original group or a solo one, while accompanied by their activities with EL7Z U+P.
The MC then announced the top 7 contestants of the show, whose rankings were derived from the global voting results and their previously earned benefits.
