Each of aespa members opened up their individual Instagram accounts on May 22, including Karina, and this satisfied their fandom MYs, who have been waiting for the girls' solo social media updates.

In Karina's personal account @katarinabluu, the "Spicy" singer uploaded a new post on August 8, featuring herself in a dreamy daylight attire, which showcases her behind-the-scenes activities during the recording of "MY WORLD" intro teaser.

The post included mesmerizing shots from Karina and numerous short clips, which all delivered the idol's ethereal visuals, gaining reaction from MYs online. Fans commented:

•  "This is not Karina. This is a real-life angel right here."
•  "Karina, are you an angel by any chance?"
•  "You are so pretty! Your beauty is everything!"
•  "Karina is pretty in all universes."
•  "You're an amazing goddess, Karina. I love you."
•  "I passed out on these pictures and videos but woke up three seconds later."

However, according to numerous Korean community forums, the post got the attention of a legendary K-pop sensation none other than "King of K-pop," BIGBANG G-Dragon.

Somewhere between August 8 to August 9 after the post was made, eagle-eyed fans spotted G-Dragon having dropped the like button on Karina's post, which included the reactions of netizens through a forum.

While Karina's Instagram post received lots of attention and love, a netizen's initiative to bring up the topic gained criticism from netizens. In the online forum Pann, fans called out the author for closely monitoring G-Dragon's Instagram activity and was even deemed a GD hater.

•  "You got that stalker vibes. You are stalking G-Dragon so much to the point of monitoring what he likes on Instagram."
•  "You just follow his account to keep an eye on him and that's creepy."
•  "These unruly haters are so funny. They mock G-Dragon for being old but can't stop obsessing over his Instagram likes. Let him be."
•  "Just look at this person who made an effort to search and analyze G-Dragon's Instagram activity."

Meanwhile, there were others who emphasized that G-Dragon is known for his carefree personality when it comes to liking whoever or whatever he wants on social media.

•  "G-Dragon is someone who often drops a like in every post anyway. There's not much to discuss about."
•  "These haters are getting too enthusiastic. G-Dragon likes posts from male idols too, so stay away."
•  "Well, he has liked numerous pictures of other celebrities, such as NCT, and popular people. Don't read much into it."
•  "I've seen too much non-fans do this about G-Dragon's Instagram likes."

Currently, G-Dragon's Instagram like has disappeared on Karina's post.
