EXO Garners Admiration for Live Vocals in 'Cream Soda' Behind-the-Scenes Video

On August 18, the nonet's official YouTube channel unveiled a new video, titled "EXO 'Cream Soda' Recording Behind the Scenes." The footage contains a sneak peek of how the "Nation's Pick" boy group's 2023 hit was created and recorded with their top-tier vocals.

Upon its upload, the clip amassed over 356k views, and viewers couldn't help but leave rave reviews about the members' singing skills.

In an online community forum, K-pop fans especially complimented EXO and their golden vocals through a viral post written on the 19th.

The OP exclaimed:

"I think I know why EXO's main vocalists are famous. All three of them sang so f***ing casually, but it sounds like the recording. No, they sounded better than the recording.

Baekhyun, D.O.Chen... You guys are so good.
It's so nice to see you doing your main job, LOL. I think they should give us a recording every day. I'm so proud of them."

In the video, the idol recorded his part easily and hit the high notes as if he wasn't even trying — highlighting the fact that he was sitting throughout the recording!

And yet, his voice was so powerful and his riffs and runs were so smooth it melted the listeners' ears and hearts.
