On August 29, former Stellar Jeonyul appeared as the special guest for the "근황올림픽" (literal translation: Recent Olympics) and updated on her status after idol activities.

During the broadcast, Jeonyul recalled the time Stellar faced sensationalism controversy, which became the image of the group throughout their activities.

In 2014, they became controversial when the group released "Marionette," a song that had "overly sexualized" choreo and "too sexy" outfits.

One of the scenes from the MV was the members, clad in their underwear, drinking milk that flows to their chests. There was also a part when they taking off their shower gowns.

The song and the dance were labeled "too erotic" that it was eventually banned in music shows.

Regarding this, Jeonyul confessed that she was clueless about anything at the time.

"In my case, I was so young at the time and didn't know anything, so I didn't think it was erotic. Even on the day of the shoot, I ran around the studio and I even showed the composer oppa, saying, 'We're wearing these clothes. Then they (frightened) said, 'Okay, cover it up.' I was like, 'What's wrong with me?' and I was happy the whole time."

Jeonyul went on:

"After the MV for 'Marionette' was unveiled, one member said, 'Did you see the comment?' 'Do you know what it means to drink milk?' I asked, 'Why?' and she said to look at the comments. After seeing the comments, I thought, 'I did this?'. I thought I would give the weakest one because I was the youngest, but I gave you the strongest one."

Despite it being controversial, "Marionette" became a huge hit and established Stellar's status in the K-pop scene.

"Before 'Marionette', we only performed at local festivals or military stages, but the month-long schedule was full of university festivals."

However, as the idol was only 20 years old at the time, she revealed her concern.

"I was scared to think that I did something wrong because I was criticized. I thought it wasn't a good direction even though we made the name Stellar known and finally created our own color."

Looking back, Jeonyul confessed:

"On the contrary, if I was at an age where I could accept the sexy concept at the time, I could have done it a little cooler and more confidently, but I feel sorry for it."
